The Hideaway Beauty Salon

In 2019 I worked with The Hideaway, an independent beauty salon who, before contacting me, did not have a lot in the way of individual branding; instead relying on websites offering templated designs for their printed requirements.
When discussing the perceived vision for the branding, the client expressed an interest in the use of Gold and a watercolour effect. When exploring initial concepts the client was set on the label style logo, and after trialling different fonts, a sans serif font was selected. The additional advantage of this logo was that it could be used in its entirety or the "H" icon on its own.
With the final logo approved, new business & appointment cards, price menus and gift vouchers were designed, printed and supplied, providing assets towards developing a mini-brand.
The client then asked me to review and contribute to their existing self-created Wix site, applying their new branding to it, as well as improving visitor experience and navigation on both desktop and mobile devices. From commission of the website work, the new thehideawaybeauty.co.uk went live just a couple of weeks later and the client still able to make updates to the site as required.
